The trip started at around 2:30pm trolling small deep-diving shad raps on lead-core line.  We caught most of our fish in 24ft of water all along the northeastern corner of the lake. We had o e nice keeper, A couple fish that were over, and a few decent perch. Later in the evening we moved down towards the rocks outside liberty beach and caught A few more decent sized fish in 24ft of water, most were too big to keep.

The conditions were very calm and blue bird sky's.  Trolling speed was around 2-2.5 mph in a zig zag path.

That's it for now, I might be going back up on sunday so I'll post another update in this thread

Update #1

Sunday August 7th

We didnt catch much of anything, 1 18" large mouth in wahkon bay with a top water frog and 1 small mouth on a buzz bait  in Isle bay.  It was very calm with blue bird skys

Update #2

Wednesday August 10th

Much better day on the water.  There was a good wind out of the north west and trolling crankbaits off of doe Island turned out to be  very succesfull.  We ended up with two 28"+ Northers, two small waleys, several perch and a 17inch small mouth bass.

Later when it looked like we might get rained off the lake so we diecided to go down into wahkon bay  in the pads/ bull rushes and pulled out 2 18' Large mouth bass with several missed strikes(top water frogs).  After we had covered that area well enough we went over to a shallow part of the bay near a channel and absolutly hammered the fish. We only managed to pull 4 fish out of there but we had close to 10 fish on but they got off in the pads ~rant.  This was all in about 3 hours also.

As it was getting closer to dark we left our spot and went back into isle bay and pulled out acouple northerns and afew small bass
