New to the board and thought I might ask a question.
Sold my 03 PT 175 and waiting on the 2012 to hit my dealer. I've looked at a lot of trackers on here from 05 to 2011 and wondering how you all keep the hulls so clean and looking new?

do you mean the unpainted aluminum? some people use sharkhide or sharkskin, ( can't remember which) but it's silly expensive. about 60.00 for a bottle. I use Gords. it's a polish and a protectant. use it like a wax. I put it on in may and my hull is still looking great. some of those products that spray on and hose off will leave the metal white.

Thanks for the info on cleaning.

Brummo, decided to buy the last 2011 my dealer had. Going to use the 1000.00 I saved to up grade electronics.

Good choice.  What are you going to update first, the fish liar?  LOL. That's what I call the fish finder.

Amen! Cruising around on Iboats I ran into a thread where mag wheel cleaner was being hailed as the great aluminum boat cleaner. Turned the area I applied it to white. I'm hoping one day it will patina back to its origional color.
