Lake George fishing last week was phenomenal! The water temps were mid to high 60's all week and we were catching the tail end of the Largemouth spawn, depending on what section of the lake you were fishing. I spent most of my time catching rediculous numbers of largemouth bass in the southern end. The bass spawn down there was pretty much over and i was catching the bass feeding on bluegill in the coves and marinas.

In the mid to northern section, there were still some largemouth bass on beds, and they were catchable. One of my young partners coaxed a 4 1/2 pound female with a senko when i couldn't get her to bite with a jig.

The real fun here though were the smallmouth bass. It took me a few days to catch any real quality smallmouth. Schools of smaller bass were found everywhere, typically rocky shoals near the islands and main lake.

We easily caught well over 30 fish per person per day the first two days. I had different kids with me for three days and after pounding the usual patterns, we found new stuff and wore that out too!

Someone could make a little extra cash if they made bumper stickers of that logo!  :-*

I actually bootlegged the idea from a salmon fishing t-shirt, so knock your selves out!  :)
