Oilmans Tourn.

Hello everyone, just wondering if anyone else is fishing the
Oilmans tourn. this Sat. I believe its going to be another hot
one. Fished it last year and it was tough making it to 3.00
weigh in. Brad I hear you're fishing it , I hear you have a few of them honey holes saved up, good luck. My partner and I finished last year and took 11 th place. Steve told me at Church Sunday Danny Joe made it home O.K. from the heat exhaustion. Thank God, it could have been worse. I'm sure

Sorry Mike, but i didn't see your post until today.

How did you do? We finished 20th with 10.97lbs. Caught our fish on the rocks with cranks and pop r's. I had to quit fishing early due to gas issues.

Joey and I ended up with a little over 7 pounds, the money started at 8 something, just our luck, put we did manage to pick up a couple more Kistler rods as a door prize. Sorry to hear about your gas problems but it looks like the good
Lord blessed you with some good fish early and someone to
give you a ride back to weigh-in. It was smoking hot out

Good luck at Bist. but I won't be there! I don't have a boat and I don't have any desire to be on Bist....I guess I need to get out there and learn it sometime. Pray that insurance comes through for me and I can get back on the water soon
