White Bear Lake Fishing Report 6/15/11

Went out for a few hours after the rain last night to White Bear Lake.  Fishing was hot right off the bat fishing the weed line on the East side of Manitou Island with 2-5ft cranks and both of us caught three bass each and a couple northerns within a half hour.  We then moved off one of the points and casted t rigged worms up onto the sand bar and jigged them down the drop off into the weed line.  Caught a couple more doing that.  Not much luck after the first hour. 

If we had more time I'm sure it would have been a bit more productive but we were happy with what we got in three hours.  Nothing huge but a couple 2.5's and maybe one or two 3 lbs.

I sold my boat last saturday so I probably wont be fishing until our next club tourny or unless I find a nice boat for sale in my price range

Sold your boat?  Why would you ever do such a thing!  I'm one of the leeches that rides on someone else's boat to fish....can't imagine selling one.....
