Just wondering what the fine people here at UB think is the best reel for 100 - 125 bucks?

I've been using the BPS Pro Qualifier since Feb 2009. I currently have about 17 of them in all gear selections. They hold up very well and have enough drag power etc to fish any style. They are also used by an Elite Pro on tour that just won the last Elite tourney in FL. He caught an 8'13'' on it and it did fine. They are low profile, you can't beat the warranty of BPS and they are only 79.99 right now on sale.

I have been using ambassador/garcia 5000 & 5500 series..narrow spool and wide spools..less than $100.  Easy to clean and fix..Academy carries most of the parts..

Love my Johnny Morris reels.
The harbor looks much better after you have made it through a rough storm.

thanks for the inputs guys......i had already bought a pro qualifier a month or so ago and did like it alot. so i just ordered me 2 more plus the 75 dollar price was hard to pass. again thanks.

After reading about the Pro qualifier reel in this post I went by our local BPS and checked them out...listed for $99 on the display so ask about the $79 price...said that was the internet price but would let me have it for that price...took the reel up to customer service and got the better price...

Use the reel today and really liked it..Will likely pick up another next week...seemed to be a really good quality reel for that or any price...was very smooth and cast pretty good also..

I got two pro qualifiers for Christmas and really like them. The 4.7 has been great for working lipless cranks and landing big fish....partnered with a BPS crankin stick and you can't beat the quality and price. I ready to give it a try with some deep diving cranks in two weeks on Toledo.

I have to agree with James John {I've got about 20 would not trade even 1 of the older ones}
And Jesus calling them to him said, suffer the little children to come unto me and forbid them not for such is the Kingdom of God.
