i think the full moon puts a better bite on during the mid moring and mid day hours..just my opinion..i am saying you may be doing worse if it were not for the full moon.???  7  is not a bad day at all...

i didnt get any this morning so HA. lo id take 7 any day

7 is good but I normally get around 10-15 Iam not complaining. But was thinking that the full moon gets them feeding more at night than during the day.I feel real lucky to get anything at all being that I just started this about 6-7 months ago.And iam having better luck with dark colored worms than anything else. I have some new baits that someone sent me ( no names) to try I just have to rig different that I will try in the morning.

Today is day2 at the lake.  Ive been fishing in the afternoons.  Yesterday i caught two on a buzzbait.  The first was a 5 lb bass off an old abandoned launch ramp, the second was just a 2lb'r.  I missed another one...he got halfway back to the boat and shook it.

Today i caught 5 and my 7 yr old daughter caught a bluegill.  I caught no size today but it was quite a bag for the crankbait i was using...3 white bass, a catfish, and a largemouth...all on a shallow crankbait.

I like to think that i will fish in the AM before i go home...but i like to sleep...not sure if I'll get up early or not.

Full moon helps, your eyes adapt in the dark. The critters tend to stay away, worst case they really hate air horns lo

I agree with DB. Your eyes quickly adapt to the darkness and with all lights off the critters are at a very minimum. Some awesome bass fishing to be had on summer nights!!

cd1, I have to ask, what were the water temps when you caught those bass on a buzzbait?

Water temps were 57 to 59.

I too love night fishing.  The only problem around here is that the bats loooove to dive bomb you when you're casting.  Most of the time its no big deal but when the big ones come so close to your head that you can hear their wings beating it can get a little old.

I use to fish 12 hour night tournaments. I hated it at first but got where I really liked them. The only critters I had any trouble with were skeeters and bugs. it's a whole different world at 2:00 or 3:00 in the morning.
I don't mind not knowing all the answers, but I keep forgeting the danged questions.
