ALTAMAHA RIVER  sounds good to me. close to home and its at the perfect height to fish this weekend. st.johns and all those stocked ponds just got burnt down.

I'm w/Dylan!!! ~c~ ~c~ ~c~ Why drive two freakin hours w/no waivers??? The river's around 9' now and coming down...Should be around 8' by Saturday!! Let's head to Everet City and get another hour of shut eye in the morning !!!
Not to mention everyone and their mother is heading to the St Johns this weekend!!!
I'd rather b fishin!!!

Randy G.

You guys are nuts. There bedding all over the St. Johns river. Why go anywhere else? Its 65 miles to Everett City and 75 miles to Governers Creek Boat ramp in Green Cove Springs. I say we go to where the big ones are at.

nitrojeff

First of all it's spelled "they're" not there...Whered u get ur edumication? And second of all every boat ramp on the ST Johns is gonna be a mad house because of the Elite tourney last week ~rant ~rant. Besides that I don't have any waypoints from following those dudes around all day ~b~ ~b~ ~b~!!!
I'd rather b fishin!!!

Randy G.

Green cove is no where near where the elites fished. None of them went anywhere near that far north. Do you think theres not a TX going out of Altamaha Park this weekend? Bet there is.

Randy G.

Correction.............50 miles to everett city and 66 to Green Cove Springs.

nitrojeff

I'd rather b fishin!!!

I agree with randy . No matter where we go there will probably be a tournament. who cares if we have to catch a 14 in bass. go somewhere where there are big ones to be caught. I   guarantee you bassmasters didn't get waivers. And they brought plenty big ones to the scales. just my thought !!!!! ;D I would love to know I have a chance of catching a 8 or 9 pounder

So if it don't matter where we go because there's probably going to be a another tourney then why are we NOT going to ORANGE? ~b~ ~b~ ~b~
I'd rather b fishin!!!

skeeter27

Because orange will take five hours to launch

idk where we fish to be honest i can catch em wherever we go except rodman....(the worlds gayest lake) theres big fish in the altamaha too.u just gota know where to go.

Randy G.

There are big fish in the Altamaha. But now where near as many by a long shot.

Classic Majic

yea i know that. the altamaha is always better than the st.marys though

Randy G.

Well, I caught 8 this afternoon in the St. Marys. Hope the Altamaha will give me at least 1 to weigh in. My best 5 prolly weighed 5 pounds though. They were all little fellas. It was fun though. But, normally your right the Altamaha is head and shoulders above the stank mary's.

Randy G.

Me and Jeff were talkin today and we think the water is gonna be high for the Altamaha TX. If so, I hope we catch them in the tide water cause that will be the only option.

Randy G.

Its expected to be just under 9 foot by saturday.
