MG binds when try to stow

I have a 82lb MG and when I stow it will not completly lay down unless I pull the rope.  Any whay to get this to lay easier?

The mount may be torqued too much on one side. Take the motor off the mount, loosen all the screws on the mount and re-tourque. It's just like changing a tire on your car. Start at the top right side and tighten the screw snug. Then go to the bottom left and tighten the screw snug. Then tighten the right middle screw snug, then the left middle screw snug......repeat this until all screws are tight. This may take several trips around the mount until it is seated properly.

My thoughts also. Sounds like the mount is in a bind. Follow Smoky's advice.
