Working on a Jon boat.

I have an old Jon boat I was wanting to fix up to do some pond fishing My question is it has broken support brace in the bottom. What is the best way to fix the brace? Thanks.

The best I know to do is to drill a new hole in the brace and in the hull then rivet the brace down. You can patch the old hole in the hull using some 2-part JB Weld. That stuff sets up like steel and can be smoothed with a file or grinder. That patches leaky rivets you can't hammer shut.
