well i wanted to step up my game a little bit. I just got a new soft plastic jerkbait mold and i have been neglecting my swimbait mold so i figured i would jump on the "woops"y shad badwagon. i made them out of scraps but i think they look pretty sweet. one batch is just plastic, the other i heavily salted the belly so that it would have a faster sink rate. what you guys think?

Hey Jesse , both baits look good and of high quality..where did u get your molds from...I've been thinking about getting the jerk bait mold and what do you use to get the slit in its belly?...Thanks and keep up the good work.

the jerkbait mold is del's from del-mart.com its the 5 incher i believe. it has the hook slot built in. it easy to pour. i like it alot. i would reccomend it. and the swimbait mold. i love that thing. its from LC.

Looks good!! If I didn't already have so many here (and some cash) I would try to buy some off of you....

Nice colors!

I have the same mold in two different sizes from Lurecraft. $10 each.
I used to do double layer pours, but got lazy and use Spike-It.
The design has good action with or without a weighted hook.

Good job!

I don't have many baits since my daughter dropped a good portion of them off the side of a dock inside an open case a few years back so I am more or less starting over. I have one plano with most of my lures plus a few mini planos with a few extra things, like a jig mini-plano and such.

Not looking for charity, I just mentioned if I had the money I would help support local UB members. For now what little money I am able to secure will be going to get my new $400 jon boat and trailer road/water ready.

I am in Niceville (Okaloosa County) just outside Eglin AFB.

Thanks for the info on the molds Jesse, will definitely check it out and need to get on the hand pouring band wagon. Always a good feeling to catch fish on something you've made yourself. Again thanks, and good fishin' to ya'. ~cf
