END OF YEAR CLASSIC PROPOSAL #2

Proposal #2:

1.    The ECBM Classic will be conducted in the month of May each year.
2.   To participate in the classic the contestant must be a member in good standing at the time of the classic.  This means your dues must be current and must have fished at least eight tournaments from the previous year.
3.   Participation in the classic will be determined from the past years final standings.
4.   The participants of the classic will be the top 12 point holders from the previous year.
5.   The top six point holders will be boaters.  The next six point holders will be non-boaters and will be paired, by random draw, with a boater.
6.   The boaters will be competing against the other five boaters to be the ECBM CLASSIC "BOATER" for 20??.  The non-boaters will be competing against the other five non-boaters to be the ECBM CLASSIC NON-BOATER for 20??.
7.   The entry fee for the classic will be $20.00 for each boater and $10.00 for each non-boater.  The club will pay $250.00 for the classic.  Of this  $250.00 the boater division will receive $175.00 and the non-boater division will receive $75.00. 
8.   This would be winner take all tournament.  Boater winner would receive a plaque and $295.00.  The non-boater winner would receive a plaque and $135.00.
9.   Boater and non-boaters may switch which boat will be used in the classic, but they can not switch the division they qualified for.

Proposal #2 gets my vote. The more club members that we can get involved in the Classic, the more competitive and fun it will be.

Addition to Proposal: Make it a 2 day tournament.

Like this one best Buc, but what about those of us who are still federated, that's the same week as the six-man and what happens if the club rejoins the FLW or BASS the following year.
