Just got back from Powell, Had to get my bass fix...

The water was like glass for most of the time we had on the water, two days is just not long enough in the spring...

The first fish was a 22" walleye and will go great in the pan...We hoped to get a few striper's and even some of the big crappie that Powell is known for, but we can get on a great bass bite as well and we sure did...

We headed for Powell at 3:00 (O dark 30) in hopes of getting their by 8:00 at Hite on the upper end of the lake after the paper work you need to launch was done we headed down lake and looking at all the great spots we wanted to fish...

The first stop we got a nice eye and a couple of nice bass as well, then kept going south to the Good Hope area and started hitting the many coves and points...We was getting lots of both Smallmouth and largemouth bass with a walleye and some crappie as well...

By the end of the first day we boated around 25 to 30 bass about 10 to 15 crappie and four eyes with fish to clean we got off the water at 7:10 we kept ed the four eyes and six crappie the eye went from 19" to 24' long and all the crappie was over 15" or we put them back to grow...

The second day was more bass with only four crappie and one eye, but like all great trips to Powell we had to head home around 2:Io but by 3:30 we was loading the boat still thinking about just one more cast...
