Ok guys cheap way to make your rods look new again. Use (Mr. Clean magic eraser) this thing works wonders on clean the dirt and grime that get caked in to your handles. The magic erasers come in packs of two and one eraser can do 3 rods depending on how dirty they are. Well hope this is useful guys. Good luck!

usefulness just doesn't seem to be one of the criteria on the tips page..seems to me its more like its more like  a clicks th;ing than anything else..but that is just my opinion...

Please excuse me, I was not saying your tip was useless, I am saying that most of the tips that get here seem to me more are "Just something to do"..Forgive me again...Cleaning rod handles is a cool thing to do..I even do it once a year a so...and I think it helps me catch more fish..

Awesome tip! Never would have thought about a magic eraser ~c~

Keeping equipment clean adds to the life of your equipment which in turn adds to the amount of fish you catch with that equipment.
