I need some advice. I have been looking for for a little bass boat for sometime. I have been looking on craigslist for about a month everyday. I found this boat and went and looked at it last night. The guy started it up and it ran fine. Everything worked. New trolling motor new parts on the engine. Has two depth finders. No real damage, boat kept up very well and taken care of. Compression test came back good. New powerpacks, coil, carb rebuilt, new hoses. trailer in good condition with replaced wood. The boat looks pretty good for and older boat. I need advice if you think this is an okay deal on this boat without having to look at it. Here is the information

1982 Cajun Bass Boat, 16' 8", 115 HP Johnson, 70# thrust Minn Kota trolling motor, bow and console depth finders, two live wells, batteries, ready to fish, engine very well maintained, runs great, have owned boat since 1987. Recently purchased newer triton and don't need two boats.

I dont know where you are from but I think you could get something a little newer for that price. See if he will take any less. Just my 2 cents.

I'm in Massachusetts and I bought a 1986 Cajun (Rickey Green) with a 1987 150 HP Suzuki. It's 18'6" with a Cajun trailer. I paid $2,000.00 Everything is in nice shape and runs well. Had to replace a few switches and work out a few bugs with the motor because it hadn't been run in a few years. All in all it was a great deal.
