Does anyone have a Nitro Z7 with a 200hp optimax with 6'' jack plate? If so what is your top speed and favorite prop?

From what I am hearing.....low to mid 70-74 range with a 25 tempest or 25 fury.

That's what i've been hearing as well. Not bad, I've got friends that are running 21ft. Rangers with 250hp and there only running 71-73mph.I'm sure the Z-7 is much more fuel efficient, and much easier to tow. Thanks alot, God bless ~fff

Im running mid 70s with a Z-7 200ProXS and 6in JP. Im still learning how to drive the boat so as I learn maybe pull out a couple more mph. Im running a factory 26p i think its a laser 2 that came with it. My boat is in the shop getting some electronics installed. But either way I can tell you it runs like a bat out of hell especially in a little bit of chop so chine isnt as prevolant. So im anxious to run with the new GPS installed. I used a handheld gps and I think the boat is capable of achieving faster speeds just with higher pucker. Anyone ran any faster than 75 yet?

If this boat will do between 70 and 75 I would love to see it.  Not knocking a Nitro (I use to have one), but I find this hard to believe.  I have a 21 foot with a 12 inch jack plate and a 250 HP and I am lucking to get 75 (with the wind behind me) and so is everybody else withthe same set up.

The boat needs to be in the water and not on the trailer when you vid it doing 75.  Just kidding!
