Looks like it's official. FLW Tour will attempt another Red River Tournament in May 2011...Let's cross our fingers that they actually fish this event and not cancel it.  lo

Yeah but its not an open its a straight up tour event. I'm intrested to see how they do at Falcon this year. They will be there at the prime time, early march.

Isn't Falcon the one that's having all the problems with pirates? I don't think BASS I'd going back.

The one in Feb 2010 was also a "Tour" event that got cancelled. It's the same thing.

Yep, that's it!  I'm shocked that they're even thinking of going there...may be some sort of "national" incident happen during this tourney.  I've got buddies that go there alot, and they wouldn't even think of going down there now...supposed to be really bad right now.  Stuff is actually happening on the American side...who would have ever thought bass fishermen would have to worry about pirates?  ~xyz

I was reading the schedule and they extended the season and raised the entry fees.

Wonder how many events will have a full field?

Interesting add more events and charge the anglers more to fish (+) expenses of traveling etc.
Where is the logic to this?

Oops. I think I will just throw a sombrero on and go to Cross on Thurs. night and start robbing people. I could probably retire after one night.
