I have the Berkley Lightning Rod Shock Series Spinning Rod 6'6" Medium as you can see in the picture. I like it a lot. I guy at work told me to get a Berkley Lighting Rod and he loved his. So I took his word for it but I did not know he had the Shock version because he got it a year ago. We went out on his 12 boat and caught 18 fish that first time using it. All at Kaweah Lake Cali. they were all 13" to 16" good size Bass and the rod handled them fine. I drop Shot with it and don't even set the hook. The Rod dose it all for me. I would have liked to get the 7 foot Medium thou. I think it would be even better. He got the another rod I like for father day the St. Croix Mojo Bass 6'9" Drop  Shot $99. I was going to get the one that says senko and wacky it's 6'8" Med EXTRA FAST tip. I would use it for drop shot or senko weightless or just my all around rod. I can't afford alot of fishing gear. So back to the Lighting Rod. Of course it gets a lot of strikes because it's a Lighting Rod. LOL I have it paired with a Shimano Sahara FD 2500 and it's all light weight and feels great. Also have use the Seaguar AbrazX Fluorocarbon 8lb test Fishing Line and Stren Original Monofilament  6lb and 8lb. I think the Rod is a great Rod for the price and even if it was $70 i would still get it.7 foot. Well hope this helps.
