I fish senkos and YUM dingers A LOT!  But I don't always get bit in places that I know that there are fish lingering.  To entice a bite I will "wiggle" the worm.  What I do is get a little tension on the line and squeeze the handle of the rod.  Just doing this will make the worm stay in place but "wiggle."  I can't tell you how many bites I have enticed from doing this.  It's a subtle technique that allows you to give a little difference in presentation without having to take the time to change lures.

It works great for sight fishing as well.  I will use this technique when fish are on the beds.  When the female is just sitting there watching the bait and not doing anything, just squeeze the handle and many times she will engulf it.  Set the hook and hold on!

I hope that this helps someone.  My father taught it too me and we both have been catching more fish with a different presentation on the same lure.
