I use chunks of mackrel for stiper fishing all the time but some times The mackrel I use are not fresh so I use this.. I use a small injecter from a turkey marenade . I open the top of my bottle of bass scent  suck out some scent and inject it ino my chunk of bait. it lasts alot longer than the actual scent of the bait...

now that is genious, especially if I leave a bag of plastics open and all the scent is gone i could do this to make it better, thanks bunches.
