Senko Repair

Don't know if this was posted before or not but we all know how expensive yet productive senkos are.  Oftentimes the head of them will get ripped up before the rest of it does keeping it from staying on the hook.  While you can pinch the head off I've found the action doesn't quite seem the same so now I use a lighter.  Just touch the flame lightly to the tip, wait a moment and then smooth with your fingers.  I can often get two or three more fish from the bait this way.

I've also hooked the senko through the other end and still caught fish off of it.  I like the idea of the lighter. Great post!
