Went out around 11 just to waste a day,  Very windy, clear sky.  Hooked into a 3-4 pounder with a strike king black/blue tube, and one little guy (about one pound) on a silver rattle trap, was letting it sink to the bottom, then twitching it up then letting in fall again(crappies would not leave the thing alone, I pulled in a few of them as well).  All cast were into or on the outside of the weeds.  Everybody else out there wasn't having much luck either, that place needs some trees to keep the wind down.

The Nebraska forest should be knee high by the 4th of July if that will help...not sure if there are any corn fields close to the lake tho...LOL!

There is actually a bunch of millionaires living next to it,...they probably wouldn't approve, but it is an idea.
