After reading Camdens facebook post I realized somethings I do without even thinking it would be a good tip for all.
1. Keep ziplock bags handy. Anytime I'm out and rain is in the forecast, I keep my phone in a ziplock near me. I can still see the screen and it stays dry. (Also works for cameras, ipods, etc.)
2. Many of us have 1 of those vaccum saver food saver things. Wanna store your rain gear compacted, vaccum lock it, it compresses very thin and to get to it, just cut the bag open and it sucks air in and you pull gear out. I keep my band-aids and TP in vaccum bags.

Plastic is everywhere, might as well use it!

BTW if you do get your phone or camera wet, take the batteries out and put the device in a ziplock of whiterice (not instant) it wil pull the moisture out of the device sometimes saving it. I have done this with 2 phones now.

Great ideas DB  :-* :-*

I always have some Ziploc bags in my boat for my phone.

I like the idea of using rice as a moisture remover, never thought of that before, but I will try it in the future :-*

Thanks for sharing all this DB  ~c~

I use "Space Bags" to carry a change of clothes, 2 towels and a jacket. Vacumn it down and it doesn't take much room, even in my small boat and everything in it will stay dry until I open it. Great for all sorts of emergencies that I have not had Y.E.T.

You're Elligible Too.

The world is full of people who can hear a loud bang, feel a sharp pain in the foot, notice smoke trickling out of their holster . . . and never put it all together

Heck Gains...Thought you wrapped everything in carpet ;) ;) ;)

Glasstream15

Nah. The boat gets wrapped in carpet. Everything else goes in waterproof bags.

Heck, lots of people want "wrapped" boats. Mine is just "wrapped" a bit differently.
