Bassthumb

Fished on Memorial Day from about 2 to 6.

Water Temp 72 to 77°.  clarity about 18".  Water has algae bloom.
Sky: cloudless
Light NE winds
Air 78-81°

In the deeper water, Bass were suspended on the trees about 4 feet down, picked up a few by flipping in a shaky head with a trick worm (green pumpkin).  in water less than 9". the bass were on the bottom of the trees.

Picked up a few on a GP craw thrown around grass.  and picked up a few on a watermelon weightless senko, thrown shallow.

Grass is not as prominent as years past, and yesterday being the first day on WC, not sure if it is going through a die-off period, or is just behind its normal growth cycle.

On a funny note (to me):  there was a young couple what appeared to be "swimming" about chest deep near the middle of the dam.  First of all, WC is a No-swim lake...the water quality is not monitored.  2.  Like I stated earlier, the lake was full of algae bloom, I hope you didn't get any, well, in places it shouldn't.  C.  Congrats on finding a place to "swim" in public in broad daylight...I hope your mamas are so proud of you.
