Distribution Panel for my 14' Lund Modification

Im working on a mod to a 14' lund, installing a casting deck and power to everything to tournament fish.  The boat has never had any power at all, so I have to wire up a trolling motor, sonar, and aerator.  Should I just hard wire everything to a plug by the batteries, or put in a distribution panel so I can switch everything off and on?  I've found a lot of panels for sale, and most of them have pretty poor reviews, does anyone have any recommendations?  Thanks!

Ill have to post some when I get home and am back on the project.  Im working offshore right now on a drilling rig in Brazil, so I just wanted to have the parts and pieces ready when I get home so I can finish it up.  Ill take some when I get home May 8th.  Any advice before then would be appreciated!
