livewell wont stay full

i have a 2003 nitro nx 882 lately once my livewell is full it empties. i dont think the livewell valve is working properly. was thinking about just putting a pump out system on it. would this solve the problem. any info would be great

i have a 1994 nitro 190 dc, my livewell will fill up when i have it closed, but it doesnt empty when its full, wierd i know, if i were you i would find a small plug to fit it.
