depth reading

Ok todd! X135  (unit is about 6 months old) worked fine then one day all I get is the same depth 4.1 whereever I am sometimes it blinks and jumps up to like 1200 ft. or something like that but usually just 4.1 also not getting a good bottom structure reading.

Chances are the transducer is bad.  Occasionally, the problem you describe lies within the unit, but not often.  I suggest replacing the ducer.

Yeah Bk I have. I have sat out on the lake for 20 mins. or so a couple of times and tried to figure it out. Set defaults automatic depth range, everything I could think of. I have an old ducer I will try first then buy a new one, then cry I mean send it back to factory.
