I have a triton fs189 with 200 hp merc When i get up to 50 mph i get a beep until i get below 50 can any body tell me what it might be i fell the boat should run more then 50 but i can only run 49 because of the beep.Thanks for any help

One of two things come to mind, first its an over temp alarm or second rev limiter warning alarm. Whats the water pressure and RPM when you hit 50?

sorry should of said that 5200 rpm 25 water

Plenty of water pressure. RPM's should have plenty of room before hitting rev limiter also. Out of ideas, may need to have it hooked to the computer and get a read out of the alarms.

thanks joe i got a call in to the mech hopefully he can fix it if not who knows maybe only 49 mph for me
