I scratched the itch and not the one in my pants!!!!

So like everyone I was itchin to get fishin, so I took the jet out on the river yesterday (Broadripple Pool)!  Had to make sure all was running ok after the 3yr maintenance was done on the big mo.  Still have a few things to do in the next week or so but it's running good.  Ran about 15 miles wide open, then stopped to FEESH!!!!  The landings and the condo coves were still froze over so I hit a few main river spots for a couple of hours.  Tossed around a hair jig, drop shot, tube, and a jerkbait.  Not even a nibble but ya know what......I was out feeeshin and it felt good!  Not sure about you fellas but cabin fever has made me grouchy this year.

I'm getting my boat out of storage from Botos garage Friday. Need to put the trolling motor back together, new spark plugs and install the Troll Ez recessed trolling motor pedal tray. I'm looking forward to getting that done, I'm sure my back will appreciate it. May fish the Cabin Fever Open and then off to Green River Lake March 27,28,29,30. Can't wait.
