Check and make sure you still have power as it has it's own line. If that is good try going to Lowrance and downloading the latest software for the unit and reload it. Strange as it may seem, the software can be a good fix.

A friend of mine had one that did that, he ended up buying the external receiver ......

BassBuff,  I have been looking through the manual for my LCX-18C and I am not seeing where the GPS antenna has its own power supply.  Not sure if I am missing something or not.  I havent been able to update because somehow my computer is missing a drive or something.  Still working on the software update.  If you have some more insite on the seperate power on the antenna than I would greatly appriciate it.  Thanks

Guess I should have dug a little deeper as I stand corrected. I thought all the Lowrance GPS antenna needed external power. But yours shows the unit using the LGX-12w which gets it's power from the unit. If it's displaying no antenna found then I would disconnect it from the unit and make sure there isn't any corrosion on the plug. If that has a good clean and tight connection then get with someone who has an SD slot on their computer so you can download the software update and try that. If you still have no response then I'd say the GPS module is bad.

Is it still under warranty?
