coldfront

spent about 2 hours running the trolling motor around the lake (45 acres)

Found some fish in about 6-8 feet of water willing to take a crankbait fished slow (Norman Deep Little N)
managed 5 short fish with 'best' going possibly 12".  They were definitely 'eating' it, most times both trebles would be 'in the mouth'...but once they were hooked, they fought like crappie (not much of a struggle due to quite cold water)

Water temps 44°F, clarity 4-6 feet

Probably should have been fishing a suspending jerkbait.

All in all, don't often get days like this around here in the late half of November.

It's coming Joe...and we all know who started me out on this path (thanks,  by the way...)...as an aside, I've found some interesting cuts in that lake too that mirror what we saw in Iowa...should be fun next summer for sure...
