Salt impregnated Plastics

Quick tip, Be sure to remove any salt impregnated plastics from your hooks at the end of the fishing day.The salt in the plastic can eat at the hook point over night leaving your hook point dull and weak.

not all hooks are created equal in this regard...for instance, don't have a lot of problems or even hook discoloration with my Mustad Ultrapoints...but it is always a good idea to remove the plastics.
