Got BFL tournament this weekend at Douglas, I fished a small club tournament last weekend there, I won it with 7'1, that will not be good enough this weekend with the BFL guys there. Caught my fish on shad raps, any help would be great.

Hello All,

Me and my buddy's from our bass club are headed to Douglas October 22-23 to have a club tournment of our own there. I have never been there myself. My buddies have though and they say this is a great crankbait time. Any help on where to go and lures to use would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

Try tn shad color deep little n caught several off rocky points off main channel between 9:00 am and noon. watch for muddy trails when wind is blowing and use crank and pause technic. largest 5+ SM several 2+.
Also early caught several 1.5 - 2 # LM on a texas shad color hot lips 1/4.

All must bump bottom, no bottom no fish. mos taken  in 5-7 ft water or less.
