I last fished it in July but did about the same as we did earlier this year. + A couple of bigger fish to 4+lbs. Looking to get out this week some time.....Gimme a ring

Hey, Craig, I wish I could come back down there & spend a couple more days fishing the Rainbow with you!  I really enjoyed it!

Have you caught anything on those flies?

I picked up some of those Keitech jigs & some senko's, but have yet to use them! Between work & my honey do list I may not, but they won't go bad!

I'll sure give you a call. I've been on the river a couple times since we were there but I had the grandkids with me. Didn't catch many fish but I had a good excuse. Its hard to get them green trout to bite when two kids are swimmin circles around the boat.

Excellent Peg, figure wed or Thurs.....Jim, I had kevin Hoover out with me in July. We had a good trip despite my electrical system crapping out on me. I only had the big motor but we did well. No salt rodding at all. I'm dying to wet those flies for reds and tire sized jacks.

I have heard they are killing them in the "backwaters area" in Dunnellon. Not sure where that is but but I gues near where the rivers meet? I need to get over that way and do some fishing in your backyard I guess.

I know the backwaters well, let me know when and I'll take you. I don't like to be there on weekends and Tues is the only day I am busy with other things
