I stop fishing around mid May and start back Sept 1st...my boat just sits and waits..Now is the time to get it ready...wheel bearings..electrical..lubrication..etc.
Tape up anything that needs it..oil anything that moves..try all buttons and know they work before you get to the lake...

This is an awesome tip Ron, not checking these things is one way to ruin a day's fishing and maybe compromise safety  :-* ~c~ ~c~

Good Tip. ~c~  ~c~ Taking care of the small stuff when not fishing saves a lot of time and headaches when you would really rather be fishing. ;D

I just did this, and noticed a few studs on my trailer needed replacing.  I went to every auto store in town, a wheel and tire specialty shop, even a trailer shop, and no one had them.  I had just forgot about napa, and when I finally went there, after traveling all over alabama, THEY HAD IT!!!!  Just a little reminder that when you can't find a part.....try napa. ~b~

Good Tip Ron, on all your equipment it is always good to invest a small amount of time to insure you don't have a ruined day later.
