Missouri River (7-31-09)

I am visiting the Sioux City area for a couple of weeks and I have learned that there aren't alot of bass fishermen in this part of the state. People, get the word out, THERE ARE BASS TO BE CAUGHT HERE. I have been bank fishing a marina right in the downtown area. These fish don't seem to bite much during the day but I have had a couple of fish on after dark and I scored tonight on a 12inch smallmouth. I caught it on a KaRu finnesse jig, Criggercraw color with an Ultravibe speedcraw trailer in watermelon red.
If I were bass fishing the Missouri in a tournament, I would probably stay right here in this marina. It has lots of potential.
