A Few From the Weekend

So on Friday I went to a local pond with my friend and we went out in a row boat and caught a few. I caught this little guy on a crankbait and then I caught another a few cast after but he took the crank. I forgot to check the knot after I landed the first one. Then I caught another one and just as I was about to lip him into the boat he shook off....I didnt even touch him so my buddy said it didnt count.

He didnt catch any that day but he had a few bites just didnt set the hook. He had one but his drag was too loose and he lost it.

These are a few of the Trout Derby on Sat I went to. I got up early and went fishing at like 6am. I caught a little rainbow on a inline panther martin spinner bait about 9 inches but it was not a tagged fish. I did not get a bite the rest of the day. Someone caught a $2000 tagged fish and a $1000 fish and a $500 fish on Sat. I didnt go back on Sunday. Here are a few pictures of all the fishermen.

That's cool. Going fishing and winning $2000 makes for a good weekend!

Yea it was pretty cool. There were over 3000 people and as far as California that came to this thing. I was impressed.

A row boat huh and eye see your setting in the front so no wonder your buddy didn't catch any he was rowing you all over the place

Nice Bass but dang that's to many people fishing in one spot for me

$2,000 for a tagged fish would make the bait monkey very happy!

Yea Lip it was close quarters and you got hung up on other peoples lures so it was frustrating at times.

After about the second time eye would be out of there

but have seen some of these kind of things where you couldn't get a bump board between you and the next guy

That Trout Derby looks like a mess , No thanks to many people packed into a small area.
