I got the chance to fish the North Branch of the Susky this Wednesday and Thursday.  What a trip!  2 totally different fishing days.  We fished a couple of different areas north of Scranton, PA.

Wednesday was warm water (67.8 F afternoon temps), almost looked like a bluebird day, steady river flow, and lots of sunshine.  All of this produced a 100 fish + day!!  It was awesome.  The fish loved anything Pumpkin, especially my Crooked Creek Tackle tubes in Pumpkin Seed Color.  They also seemed to like Zoom Fat Alberts in Pumpkin Black Fleck or a light orange color.

Thursday was a different story.  Overcast skies, much cooler than the previous 4 days.  The river was falling steadily and so was the water temp throughout the day.  The difference between Wednesday and today was about 70 fish.  Still not bad, but not absolutely spectacular for the north branch.

Also, thanks to PaExpress for the tip on the Izorline copolymer line.  After picking up a spool of 8# Izorline, I love it.  Awesome stuff.

That's my stomping grounds! ;D I thought the background looked familar in your pics. If you plan on fishing back up this way, send me a PM. Falls is only about 20 minutes from my house. ~c~ The fishing can be exceptional in that area both up and down from the Falls bridge, but the down river side is shallow for quite a way.
