Got some new swimbaits and decided to paint a couple of them. Can't wait to smoke em on these. Lemme know what you guys think!

The first one is a JSJ Snack Sized Trout (Slow Sink). It was a "Light Trout" when it got here and I slapped a Bass pattern on it. Pretty happy with how it came out. I might have to hit Josh up for some different colored tails though. ;D

The next one is a Mini Slammer that I painted in a Warmouth pattern. I got that one done in like 30min. because I wanted to use it the next day. lo I didn't really care how it looked, but the thing looks BA in the water- especially with those stripes going across the back. I also replaced the tail with part of an El Grande Lures Mexican Rattler.

Dang Tightlinez  ~c~ Both of those baits look great, but that bass pattern is sweet. I haven't tried a bass pattern yet, just can't figure out how to do the spots for the lateral line.

Thanks guys.
You can do two things- make a stencil out of some thin plastic. Draw your design out and cut it out with an exacto knife. The only thing is that you might have to make a few of them for different sized lures...... or you can do what I do and turn your pressure waaaay down and freehand them. I like this because it makes more of a unique pattern. I've done tons of bass and every one comes out different. ;)

Thanks for the tip. Yours came out great. I was wondering about the tail until I read the post.

They both look BA, but I have to say that bass is just AWESOME looking. Great job Jordan  ~c~ ~c~ ~c~

Those look great. Have you ever repainted any Sebile magic swimmers?

The magic swimmer is my favorite swimbait. I want to redo one is a "woops"y Shad color. I have to get an airbrush though. That's what birthdays are for ;D only 3 weeks til my 14th birthday. ;)
