Molded Eyes Over Painted Eyes

I was going to repaint a suspending rogue and I wanted to put the molded 3-D eyes on it. But the eyes are painted on. Can I put the molded eyes on somehow? Do you sand them down until their flat? Thanks for any help.

you can use a dremel to sand them down, but it would weaken the plastic at that point.  i would just paint, then put your molded 3-D eyes behind them.  it will look great.

scrape the paint off with an x-acto knife and then sand the spot with fine sandpaper. Just try and only take the paint off under where your new eye's are going. Work's great..
