help with Yamaha Performance

Hey Ubers,  Need some help if possible.  In 2000 I had a Merc 225 EFI and I noticed in Bass and Walleye Mag a quick way to improve air flow and performance, it was bascally to raise the back part of the cowling up about 1/2 inch.  This let more air to the motor almost like a cold air intake on todays cars. 

I now have a 175 hpdi yamaha 2004.   Im looking for any easy quick fix type performance things.  Does anyone know of any cheap easy tricks for yammis?

Not any cheap tricks for yam's. But check out Hydro-Tec for Yam high performance goodies.

I did see the exhaust port an the exaust housing.  Would be under $200 total.  I just dont know how hard it is to install.  I will ask them to see what they say.  Each one adds 7 to 12 hp and more low to mid range response.
