Has anyone used used a jig like this? Is it a swimming jig ? I like the idea of a slower fall.

What are the drawbacks to this type of jig?

i personally can see the only drawback being that it might make threading on a worm or creature bait as a trailor a bit harder.  but I've noticed that some jigs, as well as spinnerbaits have gone to the hidden lead style. give it a try.... I got some more Karu's on the way, so my jig monkey is fulfilled, until I lose them that is.

This is the first I have seen these and the idea looks good.  I assume they fall horizontally instead of nose first?  I like this idea for using real pork frogs in cold water.  Almost every jig out there falls nose first, one that fell slower and more hoizontally would be a better crawfish imitation IMO.
