There should be a number stamped on the hub somewhere.

If it is an OMC prop the pitch will be on top of the hub under the prop nut.

hey just finally checked and the only marking i found were on the outside of the pro all i see is 2900 stamped on the prop..does this mean it is a 29 pitch? and does that sound right....top speed is only 45 mph 5500rpm water pressure about 18......i think i should get a little more speed out of this motor..any thoughts...thanks...it actually gets out of the whole prety good when i have the motor trimed all the way down...i think when i first posted this i wasn't putting the trim all the way down...comes out of the whole pretty quick and then planes off and starts redlining..i have to back of the throttle while trimming the motor up on plane...

No way it's a 29. You wouldn't be able to spin it. It's probably on the inside of the prop. You will have to remove it to find the markings.
