Fishing in Grass or around alot of stickups, when you feel anything Swing...I used to not want to embarass myself in front of my partner by setting the hook on grass, but once you swing a 6lb bass on board that had a mush mouth you won't worry about serving up a little salad every once in a while. When I go fishing, I do alot more catching than I used too! If it don't feel right, probably aint right, swing!

Good Tip.  When in doubt, set the hook!  It will put more fish in the boat.

In the UK we used to say "strike" instead of "set the hook"

What ever you call it....Swing batter...Swing...the first time you do this and hook up with fish you will be amazed at how many fish you have been missing!
