Just brought home my 09' Tracker PT175 TXW with a Mercury 50 two-stroke.  Won't have a chance to use it until Saturday though.  It looks great, and it seems most everything was well-thought-out.

The people at Bass Pro Orlando really spent a lot of time going over everything, and overall I'm very satisfied.

Hi All, I am new here and was just looking around for outboard motor info. I had a 1989 tracker 16 ft. panfish special with a 25hp two stroke. My two boys and I caught a lot of bass, crappie and bream the last couple of decades. When the floor rotted out,I replaced it with an Aluminium bottom and a rear fold up deck to fish off of. It maxed out at about 19mph after several prop tries.
Well, the time came for a new boat and I finally went with a Lowe Stinger ST195 Crappie boat 2008. The main reasons for the Lowe were front and rear live wells with hidden bait buckets front and rear. In its class,it has the widest deck for the longest % of the boat length that I could find. It has two front seats for two abreast fishing. Also a 9ft.6in.rod box helped too. All welded because the prior boat had rivits and wood that did not like water.
After I decided on the boat, I had to go looking at motors, due to the big changes in 2 stroke and the addition of 4 stroke. I did some internet searching and decided on the quiet,no more oil mix 4 stroke and I put a Merc 90 EFI with tilt and trim. It has been a quiet boating experience since.
I had an added hour meter, wtr. press, lighted compartment(ALL) boat battery charger and 72lbs thrust trolling motor and tieoffs.
If this boat lasts as long as my previous boat, I will be land locked or dead before I need another one.
I do not know how fast it will run just yet because I have not had the required 10 hrs. on the motor. I have run upper end lube in the fuel and have drained out about two quarts of the factory fill oil and put and extended filter with a fully synthetic oil top off. At ten hrs., and a full oil and filter change, I will then be able to check full RPM and top speed.
Compaired to what I had, it is a Cadillac to me. My boys like it too!  Fshfnder
