More of a reminder and certainly not original...working schooling bass can be frustrating..they just will not take anything you toss...but did you toss a crankbait? Not a lipless type such as a Rattle Trap..A medium to deep diving bomber, bandit or norman..etc..will do the trick..Toss it beyond the school, crank it back fast and BAM..BIGGER FISH...under the schooling small bass...
who would a thunk it...

The small bluegill were schooling yesterday and the bass were hitting them, but I couldn't get them to bite my offerings, I'll give your idea a try  :-*

Good tip Ronalddipietro and to add to it you can also throw a jig under the school and catch the bigger fish. What they will do is hang around under the school and catch the shad or pieces of shad that escape the school above.
