Here are three lures I had someone paint for me. I just sent him the baits, along with a description of what I wanted, and man did he deliver! Some of the best work I've ever seen. Almost hate to fish them, but I know they'll put fish in the livewell! ~gf
Sorry for all the pics, but it's really hard to capture the beauty of these on camera.

Bandit 700 Series CB in "Pumpkinseed/Sunfish"

Strike King King Shad in "Shiner/Chartreuse Fins"

And my favorite- Savagear 4Play 7.5" Swimbait in "Baby Bass"

Now you see why I want to get into painting my own lures! ~c~

Not yet! Just had enough daylight the other day to check out what they looked like under water. WOW! The bass one looked amazing waked on top. :shocking:

Very interesting. I love the Bandit 700. Make sure you keep a lure retrieval kit with you. Nothing worse than losing a custom bait.

Nice cranks!  I am sure you will get bit in no time at all fishing those.

Thanks! I'll definitely keep a retriver handy. ;D

So Jay, I have a few more lures I might have him paint for me. What are a couple good patterns for Sugar Lake? I was thinking Tilapia or that shad color you mentioned. Anything else?

Those look awesome. I know you'll crush the fish on those.
