tip of the week from down under ,weedless jigs a solution

fishing weedless jigheads frustrates me,you no in your own mind you have to fish them but you no your hook up rate is going to decrease,try this fish your standard jig head that you normally use  but just before you put your plastic on ,grab the pliers  and grab the bend of the hook and bend it down slightly so that the barb length is pointing down more,you will find your strike rate will increase and you won,t be hooking that timber every cast,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
