Actually, never have had a drink of alcohol while fishing.  Ever.

Have been a bartender and a college student.  So I've had my share of EtOH over the years...but for me (ME, not anyone else) when I fish, I'm serious about fishing.  When I drink, I'm serious about drinking and not going anywhere once/after it starts.

when i was young and stupid i did this silliness, but now, with a new baby, my wife and i when we go out .. one of us drinks and one of u s drives .. saves me more money for senkos

I did the same thing. I vaguely remember getting pulled out of the boat by my partner at KY lake 30 years ago at the end of the day.  I wound up taking 2nd place in that T.  Had I stayed sober I could've won the thing.   ~beer~

There has never been any alcohol in my boat and I plan on keeping it that way.  Diet coke and water are all I drink while fishing.

That's all that is in my cooler as well. Too easy to get a BUI or DUI and my job wouldn't allow it. Do all my  ~beer~ at home,
