I have a Eagle 480 Fish elite and the GPS just reads GPS module not responding when it it is trying to find Satelites. Anybody sent one in for this problem or fixed one like this before. Unplugged it and plugged it back in several times.

Called Eagle today, they had me test the unit with a multi meter and determined it was a bad module. Mailed it in postage was $2.66, I can still use the sonar, I will keep posted on return time. They seemed very helpful and everything is covered under warranty.

Good news.

So what tests did they have you do? Was the module a LGC2000 or a 3000?

The module is already in the mail, so I'm not sure what model it was.. They had me test the plug in the back of the unit to see if it was putting out 11-13 volts.
Post 1,2 and 2,4 were putting out 12 volts, so they said the unit was doing it's part. As soon I gave them the serial number they knew where and when I bought it and didn't even want a copy of the receipt.

For the eagle gps it would be like a EGC 12W. Only the latest Lowrance units use the LGC 2000/3000 antennas.

You are right,12W, 5 days total, from talking to the company to part back on the boat. Can't beat that service, would have been faster if I had allowed them to put a $100 hold on a credit card, but I didn't need it that fast.
